Body Music Playground with Phoebe Martha

Come and be led through a melange of musical games from Brazil, through to Hawaii and back to London. We will use body percussion, vocal percussion and voice to create music and move together. We will explore our voices and express our unique sounds in a safe and playful way (not exposing!!). Invitations to create new riffs and loops en mass as well as be given parts that lock in with much satisfaction. We will get out of our minds and into our bodies to feel connected inwards and out. No music experience necessary – accessible to ALL. Feel lighter after a surge of endorphins, release and laughter. Think Ceilidh meets Singing meets Stomp.

Phoebe is a Welsh explorer, composer and player of unknown. She has recently moved back to London after following the sounds and colours around Latin America for a year, including training with Musica Do Circulo in Brazil, and Rhiannon in Hawaii. She has 15 years of experience leading creative music making projects, sings with European Vocal Improv group ‘OöM’ and offers weekly sessions and weekend retreats called ‘Vocal Playground’. @phoebespockets for more info.
